Who thought this was a good idea? Trying to be like Ubisoft and have all of your titles avoided because of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ business decisions?

This game got game of the year, the game awards show has been a total rigged joke for years and nobody takes that garbage seriously. I check on this game every now and then when it pops up in news and still see how they refuse to get rid of this garbage, it makes it even more suspcious. I was ready to buy this game day one, was waiting 7 years for this game but im not damaging my pc with their useless garbage "anti cheat" while cheaters run rampant in the game unopposed anyways.

If they never remove it ill never buy it. And all my friends who had bought this game never really played it so it doesn't really sound worth the wait at this point, I think the fun ran dry already.

Its also funny you cant post in the main forum unless you own the game now, and they made the anti cheat stuff it's own sub forum that they have and never will respond to or pay attention to. They know people arent happy about it but they literally swept it under the rug instead of dealing with it. Would take them an afternoon or less to remove this stuff and the only change to the game would be more customers, zero downsides.

Nguard GG can't damage your PC under Linux, it works there only with limited PC access.

It works, i do it with Linux+Veracrypt... Before you open Steam/Discord or other shady Apps, close your encrypted data and you fine.

Of course this don't work under Windows, where the OS is spying on you all the time anyways, but then you dont get anything even if you own 2 PC's... when 2 PC's have Windows SpyOS installed.

the code would have to have functions to do the actual data-mining, since the discussions only speculate how it works and haven't provided any actual information outside of speculation we're left to only assuming at this point... something tells me it just does anti-cheat stuff since I'm sure Valve did a through inspection before putting in on their platform.

if anyone is against that its me, however cheating has becoming so common in online gaming something drastic needs to be done in order to fix it. Take one look at my profile you'll realize there are different opinions of people that may even think mostly the same as you.

what a funny comment. nobody is trying to cheat homie.. the anticheat is not reputable in the slightest. look at oakatusz discussion on nProtect and there is tons of evidence of nProtect messing up peoples systems or hardware. we don't want no anti-cheat at all or form of protection for peoples accounts/currency or let people cheat the way they want. we want a REPUTABLE anti-cheat that doesnt mess with your system.

With no way to verify it "messed up systems" only a few of those reports brought any evidence and it was the audio drivers issues. Not a single report of SSD issues or other damage is verifiably the game or the AC fault.

Also a good portion of that thread you mention is also about "mass amounts of cheaters" which is pointed at that the AC is ineffective lol so is it that no one cheats or that there are lots of cheater and it's ineffective?

Do you think it'll lessen without an anti cheat? Most people don't cheat they wanna play the game but a small amount of people do in fact wanna and will cheat regardless of the method used to stop it.

It also does nothing. Super credits and super samples are already a server-side check, and that's all this program was stated to be protecting against anyway. It's less of an "anti-cheat" and more of an "anti-microtransaction-cheat", without protecting the player from anything.
