Apex Legends players were hacked through the game
There was a major hacking incident in the Apex Legends Global Series, where hackers abused a Remote Code Execution vulnerability to target pro players during competitive play, causing EA to completely cancel the series. There's been a ton of coverage about it, you can read about it here:

It is not know yet whether or not the hack was conducted through Apex Legends itself, or EasyAntiCheat (which the game uses). However, it is a demonstration of the kind of vulnerabilities people are complaining about with RNG0 Anticheat.

I mean hackers were using genshin's ac too sometime ago to hide signature and there were other small "incidents" with others. Though this time its quite big and i wonder how they gonna worm out of this and how many knights will defend these viruses in trenches bundled with PVE games. PVP games for me are already lost cause, too many kids that want to feel better or ruin someone else day.

Apex Legends servers have been known to be as leak as a wicker basket. There were plenty of cases in the past where players would suddenly receive an endless supply of Lootboxes because the servers were hacked, an ingame banner that would read "Save Titanfall" and other mishaps all coming from the server-side by hackers.

This is however, the first case a RCE was used/abused on 2 streamers. If the streamers were victims of phishing, if EAC was at fault or if the attacks came from the server as well is yet to be clarified.
