Can't start the game because of nProtect

When I try to start the game, I get the following error message: "Failed to connect to update server." My internet connection works perfectly and the FAQ that opens doesn't help me at all. Error code 340, 350, 360, 361, 380
1. Limited connection due to security programs (firewall) - simply deactivating my Firewall
hasn't worked, and the game and gameguard are on the whitelist.
2. Unable to connect to GameGuard update server due to external firewall - Does not apply,
same as point 1
3. Internet line problem - connection is fine
4. If the setting is Proxy server - I selected "no proxy" - no effect
5. Hosts file change - The information that is to be deleted is not displayed in my hosts file.
- So that doesn't apply either.

What else can i do? How can i keep defending Managed Democracy?

Update:
not even deinstallation and reinstallation works. Starting as admin does not work either. Deleting the Gameguard folder and starting via the helldivers2.exe file has not worked.

Update 2:
Well, i have a new Anti-Virus program and now the game is working again. Don't know what the problem with Kaspersky was, but Bitdefender seems to be approved be the ministry of truth.

I get the same issue which is why I am checking here. For me, if I just keep trying to launch it eventually works. Hopefully you can force your way in like I do or we find another solution

I looked on reddit and youtube, but non of the shown fixes worked for me. I'll keep trying. See you on the frontline my fellow Helldiver.

For me sometimes works deleting the D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Helldivers 2\bin\GameGuard folder, but it isnt consistent, I've tried the same things as you. They should address this in the comming updates is maddening

idk it's not a firewall issue since you said that doesn't apply, try a VPN and see if it works

As far as i understood, they are working with GameGuard on the issue. Already tried deleting the folder several times, didn't worked so far.

Same issue for me, nothing works. Opened a ticket with Arrowhead over the weekend, no response yet. I get the need for a solution against hacks/cheats but this is NOT it.

This anticheat ( aka malware ) has a nasty habit of messing with essential programs and has caused damage to numerous computers, so i would not be suprised if it messed up some of your files/programs that HD2 needed in order to launch itself.

I have no idea how to fix it sadly, you could try to uninstal this malware of an anticheat with a tutorial on youtube ( it leaves its files on your pc even after uninstalling ) and install the game again but i do not have much hope that it would work.

You should check if any other games do not launch, if so, there is something wrong with your pc.

If i use Verify Integrity of Game Files, 14 files are always being requested again/repaired or what ever happens.

type
ipconfig /flushdns

reboot
