infinite credit hack
hello, i joined a game a few days ago that had a hacker in the lobby. i noticed shortly before the end of the game that he wouldnt take damage when he was getting hit, i dont really care if noobs want to cheat on the game but the issue is that after the match i recieved maxed out samples and it screwed up my progression. is there anyway to reverse this? Thank you

The hell is the anticheat there for if it doesn't actually do anything? Not even a simple sanity check is present to prevent stuff like this?

I believe you have to contact the Devs on that one, if you have info on the player who was hacking include that in your contact to them.

To protect mtx. That's why.

Does Steam allows refunds due to that kind of situation?

Funny enough, the devs originally wanted to use gameguard to protect against sample cheats like this.

We later found out that gameguard can be bypassed.
We then find out that gameguard does nothing to protect against sample cheats
We have yet to find out about Medal/Super credit cheats.

Besides, gameguard is really just used in freemium games to protect cash shop currencies.
It isn't like you can't do the super credit exploit yourself anyway, and that doesnt even require cheat software. Just being able to alt+f4.

afaik, gameguard doesn't even ban people. It just blocks the ability to launch the game/play the game if it detects something.

Ask them to implement a save backup system and either remove the AC or use a way lighter one.

When DRG allowed mods in-game via mod.io, they also felt the need to implement a save backup system. This happened long after the game release, so it’s always possible to build.

This works infinitely better to protect players from resource hacks, while also adding peace of mind to every single player that you will have a very hard time losing all your progress. Even due to a simple bugged save.

Refusing to buy the game until this ineffective malware of an AC is removed. For a long list of reasons we don’t need to cover over and over, almost any other AC would be better. They essentially chose the budget, aggressive option.
