If you want to confirm this, open up Services and look for "nProtect GameGuard Service".
If it isn't there, then it has been removed.
It does seem like some update files may get left behind in the game folder. These are harmless but if you want them removed then just delete the Helldivers folder.
Comment from the devs on it:
Leftovers always remain after uninstallations. Simply delete the HD folder and you're done.
2) it's better to run uninstaller first, then delete the game
Look up the lines you need to track down in your Registry, its a list of around 15-20.
as for if it work? i'm not sure
you can also tell a buddy who still has HD2 installed to toss u the uninstaller through discord or google drive too
after uninstalling the game to remove the anticheat can you reinstall the game or will the anticheat be installed again.
I mean you can technically "install it" however on launch the anti cheat installs, this cannot be helped.
However if you wish to circumvent the Anti cheat in a way its useless I'd recommend the Linux thread. Past that nothing can be done.
If you're worried I'd just play the game when you wanna play and remove it and the AC when you are no longer playing it constantly on the daily.
