Can I ask what system you have, and where you downloaded helldivers 2 before, on an ssd or hdd? Just to see if this happens on a system basis.

Have you tried running the gameguard uninstaller (can be found in the Helldivers folder) and then playing these other games?
Do the issues still occur?
I havent tried that because I play helldivers 2. But it started after I installed it.
based on literally any popular game on steams discussion thread... i would bet its more that people aren't updating there pc's drivers, bios, or meeting the minimum system requirements.
there of course could be other issuses. it could be a driver from literally any other piece of hardware interfering. thats part of the issuses developers run into is that unlike xbox or playstation the hardware per pc is different and variable instead of stagnant and the exzact same.
but id be willing to bet simple things that everyone with a pc should know are the culprit in the vast majority of cases. especially if there getting bsod's consistently as you could simply look at the windows log and see the why your pc crashed.
edit: wanted to add, you should be upgrading your pc a minimum of every 5 years. that means almost completely gutting and replacing hardware. it can be done on the cheapish for a high mid-range if you self build for about $1,200 usd. thats going mid-high teir on the gfx card, and cpu.
i just built mine 3 years ago? just recently got a new gfx card and more ram.
I played Darktide for 30+ hours without any issues then the game would start to BSOD/CTD/Blackscreen shortly after a few minutes of running then run fine for another 30hrs and repeat.
"converted".... Is a OS not a religion ffs...
I got a I7 13700 and a 4090 with 32gb of ddr5 running on a m2 nvme. Trust me. computer specs aint the problem.
You are me. I have the same behavior, i uninstall the Game and the ssd is working normal.
Tell that to the followers to the cult of Apple XD.
Silliness aside, GG does seem to cause a lot of problems and potential security issues in Windows. These aren't present with running it in Linux since it's limited in scope on what it can do.
However, to the OP's topic:
You may have done this but do a Steam Game Integrity check. Something seems to cause a few files to get mucked up and correcting them seems to fix many login / crashing issues.
now "what" causes this I do not know, it may be a server side change or something that happens with their update process.
Thanks for not adding much to the conversation bud. Most of us are smart enough to read the specs and update drivers.
You can also convert a Partition... Never even used Partition Manager Tool?
Use a language translation tool and type "converted" into it ffs or keep living your life under a rock, its up to you.
Sorry for English, not first lang.
