Yeah I tried that already. keeps downloading the GG folder back into the HD folder, but then goes straight back to the 'update failed' popup and still refuses to launch.
I seen quite a few people with the problem. Hope it gets the devs attention, but I feel like it's not widespread enough yet for them to do anything about it, so we might just be SoL.
Out here waiting for nguard removal but glad some are enjoying 😊
Yeah I wasn't gonna get it either cuz of GG but being a bit on the less intelligent side I decided to go with it anyway. Hopefully there's enough of an uproar that they'll change to EAC or something, but so far they don't seem particularly interested in doing that. Just sucks that we got the timeline where they went with GG instead

I used to play SEA mmo's and one of the workarounds I had was to use the uninstaller to fully purge your computer of GG and then using a VPN prior to starting up the game again. For some reason I was able to fully update GG through the VPN while my home network was throwing up errors left and right.
I haven't, I'll see if I can give that a shot. Is their uninstaller the same as the one from the HD devs? Or should I download theirs specifically?
