Constant disconnects?

Keep trying to play the new update with my friends but I am constantly disconnecting from games. I tried hosting myself, but all that ended up happening is my friends disconnecting from me. It wasn't a problem before, and I am still able to talk to my friends on discord while disconnecting so I am not losing internet. Any known fixes?

Same issue here. I can count on 1 hand the number of illuminate matches I've completed in attempting 30+ over the weekend. Constant disconnects, black screens, and crashes. I have an ISP and Starlink connection available, I've tried both with the same result. Between Illuminate attacks I had no issue in Automaton Matches.

The Rejoin works worse than it did before, I got the option once after a hard crash. But it doesn't appear for normal disconnects. We used to be able to rejoin a game from the recent player list, but now you can only join a friend's match. That's a major downgrade.

Same thing has been happening to my matches. Before this update it was working just fine. Now after the Illuminate patch I get at least 3 or 4 disconnects per match.

I recently played with 3 people - my sister, her husband (so they shared the same Internet line) and a friend on the other side of the continent.

Earlier in the week I played with my sister and her husband (who hosted) and my sister kept getting disconnected every few minutes. I was fine, though.

I played a game with my friend hosting yesterday and I kept getting disconnected every few mins despite us playing weekly for months without problems. After that game, I hosted a game and he joined me and there were no problems.

Later yesterday my sister, her husband, my friend, and I formed a game with her husband hosting. My sister kept getting disconnected again and I also started getting disconnecting often.

We switched off cross-play and when we got disconnected, we tried joining other people who were in the game through the Steam friends list instead of the host. After doing that, we were able to play without problems.

I don't know if this is in any way related but thought I'd mention it as things to try.

I can play on bugs and bots just fine but I disconnect constantly against the illuminate. Its really disappointing not being able to play against the new faction at all.

Earlier, when it was the first illuminate planet, I'd disconnect about 1 minute into the game. Now on the newer illuminate planets, I disconnect about 15 minutes in. Bugs and bots seem to work fine. I've got an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080ti GPU. Very disheartening.

If you are in the game, could you try a speedtest to see what your internet is doing (Switch back to windows desktop) ?

Rejoining works over Social menu.
Bugs and Bots are fine.
