refund game question...
Well I barelly have 1 hour ingame, and now I see queue queue queue, will I be able to return it even surpasing 2hours? because I still need to check if I can get a consisten framerate and 1 single mission played will be not enough for it (and was with the reverted patch)

I think steam would be able to answer this question, unless someone has already got a refund after the 2 hour window? i would think would extend the refund time, I hope they extend it, I don't plan on refunding but it only seems fair to extend for users that were facing issues and spent the whole time in limbo.

you dont even need the timer at this point steam is taking refunds for this game even after the 2 hour timer.

The 2-hour policy is simply for automatic refunds. You can still request a refund once you've exceeded 2-hours of gametime, it is just no longer automatic and has to be manually reviewed.

I strongly doubt Steam will refuse your refund request.

oh good call out! I thought it was a no normally for any game after 2 hours and this was something special!

I dont want to refund it now, I expect to be able to get an extended period to test the game.. maybe a couple aditional hours would be nice since this game is not based on a linear campaign...

What would annoy me is to wait for 2 hours in queue just to discover I cant stabilize the framerate and I cannot refund it...

*Also, by the way, a benchmark tool would be useful (since the tutorial range doesnt give valuable data)
thx for the clarification guys, I only refunded I think one game in my life on steam and I expected all used to be automatic (by the way that game was Ark, and I got and automatic NO) :S

I wish I could refund, but purchased from a 3rd party site which won't allow refunds on redeemed keys. Just not worth the frustration when there are so many other great games you can actually play right now.

you might be able to reach out to the third party and have them refund you for another game.

Steam has declined all of my refund requests since I’m past two hours played, I’ve even talked to real support people and said since I have a few achievements I’m ineligible for a refund. The day I tried playing was a nightmare of 6+ hours restarting, trying to load into a game, getting kicked right when we try to join etc. I have maybe four? Five? full missions completed in game totaling under two hours playtime.

I am in the same boat. I have one support ticket with 5 different agents telling me the exact same thing and not answering any of my issues

Was just about say you could just refund it no problem cause I've never had any problem with refunds. For multiple times I would have 2+ hours and once straight up 7 hours into a game and I explained why I refund it which is due to fps issues, and I always got them.

But yeah, these people having issues with steam support kinda got me confused on why they're having issues.

Well, I’m glad you’re not refunding and you’re playing the game. I enjoyed the game very much when I got to play and I plan on playing it a lot more I’m gonna have more time. It can be a lot of fun

Yeah the game is fun, my only concern was about the performance and the strict Steam system for refunds (I always though, steam should force Developers to choose what amount of hours their game is expected to last, and then aply a % of said number as the max limit for refunds... As is not the same to play 2h of a 4h long game, than play 2 hours of a game from a studio like ubisoft, that will pretend to sell me the idea their games will last 200h...) [In other words, if amount of hours is going to get exploited as advertising, this should be also a double edged blade where they should be having a wider window for refunds]

I waited a week before giving the game another chance and the couple patches they added improved the experience to an enjoyable point with my hardware so there was no reason to refund.
