Replace game.dll to fix Matchmaking, Instructions Inside

So after seeing this game.dll fix posted in a few places on this forum and redddit, I decided to give it a try. I've never had Matchmaking work since I bought the game a few days ago.

After following instructions and testing, I can confirm, it works! It will also allow you to matchmake with others who HAVEN'T fixed their game.dll

It seems by doing the following instructions, you're just replacing your current game.dll, with the one from the last patch. Here's the instructions that worked for me:

press: Win + R
type out: steam://open/console
in steam console, type out: download_depot 553850 553853 6737583239230239718 3739452017591502023
go to the file location, grab the game.dll and replace it with the one in your game directory
matchmaking fixed. enjoy

After you type the stuff into console and it finishes downloading it tells you the location: steam/steamapps/content/app_553850 then within that just take game.dll and drag it into the data subfolder of Helldivers install (right click HD2 in steam library and go "manage -> browse local files ->data/game/GAME.DLL)

It works for me, now the game search and find other players, instead serch for the eternity with no result. But i continue to fail to connect, and other player can't see me i suppose. I will wait the next patch for retry to play.

right click Helldivers 2 in steam library and go "manage -> browse local files ->data/game/GAME.DLL

how about not telling people to ♥♥♥♥ with their client side coding until after the devs post a fix on the server end? you're just gonna have people constantly repairing their ♥♥♥♥ when they keep restarting the game thinking they'll make it in this time.

it will be replaced with new patch anyway... so it doesnt matter what they change now... and new patch will come tommorow
