Again unable to play because of fatal Error from GameGuard...
Don't get me wrong here, I will not complain about the specific nprotect solution, because I don't care wich solution is used, I just want to be able to PLAY!! I was able to play once in a while when, let's say about 5 or 6 time but each time I had to spend hours and hours of troubleshooting for nothing because the game will only launch successfully randomly once in a while... Last time I was able to start my PC, start Steam and then, directly after the update, start the game and get the screen that retried to reconnect in loop. That was new! I was able to run the game and play after letting the screen run for about 4 minutes. That was cool! I didn't have to spend hours looking for new procedures to start the game because every time the last procedure don't work anymore. But today I did exactly the same as the last time and THE ####### ERROR FROM GAMEGUARD IS BACK! I tried to restart the whole PC but nothing changed... I'm sure that tomorrow or in the next days, without changing anything in the process or in the configuration the game will play... So please, do something to make it work every time or at least give a reason in the screen why I can't play other than "GameGuard failed to initialize... Please send .erl files to... blablabla" because I also already did that and after 2 or 3 generic messages about exclusions to anti-virus and restarting the computer, they stop answering... No major breakthrough there because all the stuff they propose is what any IT guy would do first before calling for any support...
So again, PLEASE make the launching of the game process more verbose and give some hints what is going on!!

When you run the game as administrator you get helldivers2.exe in task manager but you can't kill it?
I've seen similar PC.

Just in case, give it a try and let me know the results.
Start menu - type 'Exploit Protection' and enter - set all options to 'Off by default' - reboot

Gameguard appears to hard lock my PC (AMD 7800X3D) since a few days ago. Fine before that, but something changed.

Run 'Disk Management' and check if there is an uninitialized HDD.
If you have an uninitialized or faulty HDD, remove it and try again.
