Black screen on start up

Help im getting a black screen when i boot the game what's going on? is this the bugs

its because the login server full or maybe down. yesterday was the same

It's a server issue. It will eventually load to the music and splash screen. But then goes to the ERROR Servers at Capacity. Leave a review that fits your current situation, and or request a refund.

I have been able to reproduce the issue on my end. For me, the black screen is caused by the game program being terminated by anything other than properly exiting the game. This can be either through crash to desktop, or an infinite loading screen requiring the use of the STOP button in Steam library.

Restarting steam, even the computer, doesn't resolve this. Any attempt to start the game will have the black screen on launch. Not even the opening cinematic will play.

The only time I can clear it is by having Steam validate the files. Though the files usually validate successfully, I notice that this process requires that the nProtect: Game Guard to uninstall/reinstall itself for reasons beyond my mortal comprehension.

Once this is done, the game launches fine again. From my limited perspective, this suggests that the nProtect: Game Guard ♥♥♥♥♥ the bed and doesn't let the game launch properly ever again if its shut down unexpectedly.

I am also seeing this today I tried a File Verify to see if that would fix the problem with it not helping not sure what hang up is thought maybe it was the game trailer that shows at launch so I waited 10mins with game staying at black screen so giving up for now no bug stomping today pity ...

It was fixed for me by validating files installed. It was missing 1. No need to delete files from folders.

delete user_settings.config file to fix. in folder below, to access appdata view/show/hidden items
