Logged in as someone else's character

After sitting on the "server full" screen for ~10 minutes, I finally loaded into the game.... As someone else's character. It showed my username, but my armor, weapon & other unlocks were clearly not mine.

I quickly logged out & relaunched the game & then it finally logged me back in as my own character, but it seems like an issue that needs to checked because I have no idea if that would have affected their progression or something.
