Game Crashing when interacting with War Table

Today has seem to cause a lot of new bugs I've never seen or experience. After waiting a painfully long time to play the game I go to the war table and interact with it just for the game to crash. Anyone else getting this too?

yeah it happened to me too, get into the game and as soon as I touch the table to pick a mission game insta crashes and now I am waiting in "queue" again

Please read the other post down. I'm trying to find the culprit. Forcing vsync and fullscreen will get you into the planet

The culprit could be gsync/HDR/vsync/ or just a bad setting/unstable. (pleas post your specs and the crash log if you find it)

have same, i play 60 hours without this bug, after "black screen" problem game crash when i try select mission, and social in game not working correctly.

After setting all "low" disabled everything, vsync on fullscreen you can actually play.
Edit: crashed after a little more time. Progress?

same I was playing for a while (30 hours) and after I started getting the black screen bug it started, which was exactly after the last update. I think they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ something up in the last update.

The issue seems to have suddenly just stopped happening and I can play normally again, weird

After waiting for almost an hour my game also crashed the moment i pressed quick play button. And now i am stuck in the queue trying to get back in the game.

I’m not sure if this is fixed now but I uninstalled my game and reinstalled and I’m able to access my wartable now and play.

Edit: after trying to join my ps5 friends twice and being stuck on an infinite loading screen then closing my game twice I was back at my game crashing again.

Same exact issue here. My two friends are able to play normally, but I still have painfully long queue times, only to get in then not be able to board their ships and I get a hard crash every time I select a planet. 30 hours played without this bug.

I am also having this issue. Ive tried 4 times over the last 3 hours. I tried verifying game files and reinstalling. I also had the black screen on start up but verifying game files fixed that.

I'm having this issue as well, on top of it, my name is showing as "anonymous". Weirdly, the social tab got sort of fixed, I actually see my friends list in it now, but it doesn't show who's playing the game correctly, and again, my name shows as "anonymous" when that's never been a Steam name I've used.
