Also, restart your router. I have to do these things every time I wanna play, but it works flawlessly. If I don’t I get the same error.
Anyone have any idea what's going on?
This, I've been able to temporarily fix it by simply rebooting my computer, but that doesn't really fix the problem, it just pushes it further back. I would like a permanent fix if possible.
i fully agree no one should have to do these things to connect to a game. this is definately a server issue. there are tons of ppl with many issues but the server connection is bar far the worst. how was there not testing done?
Did not used to have this issue.
Don't mess with host files, IPv6, firewall rules, port forwarding, even running this game under Linux won't help.
Connect your PC directly to your Fiber WAN or hotspot from your phone; So that there is no intermediary between your Windows firewall rules, outgoing and incoming traffic.
