Gyro As Mouse/To Mouse no longer working

This might be a steam thing but since yesterday's patch I've no longer been able to use gyro aim as mouse emulation. I've got a bad mouse wrist so KBM requires frequent breaks but without gyro I struggle to aim on controller. Anyone else experience this or know how to fix it?

Swapping to "as Joystick" does work but it's not as smooth or consistent and has its own problems.

Everyone is having mouse issues suddenly through steam input, steam link, moonlight, and other remote control services.

nope. same here with steam controller to use mouse input as trackpads does not work anymore it also broke mouse input for several streaming options.. i hope it will be rolled back.. was such a joy to play it with steam controller

Up until before the patch I played using the DualSense with gyro activation via left trigger press. Now it doesn't work anymore. I've also tried with the steam controller, the gryro doesn't work with this either.

ok, if you are using dualsense, disable steam input ad enable the gyro from game option menu.

Yes, aware that that's a way to use gyro. The issue is that the games in-built Gyro system doesn't let you "ratchet" the gyro on or off. Steam inputs implementation is far superior and more customisable.

Ah ok, I'm just happy with left trigger activation option. It's the same way I use for other games like rdr2 and the divisione 2. But if you use the stream imputs, the trigger's haptic feedback of dualsense is disabled.

New patch, just dropping an update to say nothing's changed and mouse gyro still doesn't work. Again though, I'm not sure if it's a steam issue instead of a game issue.

common nprotect gameguard issue here, there will be nothing end user can do about it

I can confirm that this is still broken. Steam Controller cannot send mouse output.

had lots of fun with it last week, working fine until 2(?) patches ago..

It was a patch/steam update on February 15 that borked it.
