Logitech Mouse buttons suddenly and permanently not registering

I have 2 mouse buttons on my mouse that are used for things like browser forward/back. They worked for my first several missions then suddenly stopped registering as inputs. I can't map any controls to them. They work just fine outside of helldivers though.

I had the strategem bound to one of them. Being unable to use strategems is game breaking.

Probably refunding until the issue is resolved. Please let me know when it is.

I use G Hub to make them my scroll up and scroll down depending on game; but my Helldivers 2 profile has them at default, and the are working fine for me. I do know that on a couple games, they were randomly set to disabled instead of default. Not sure if this info helps

I'm also having this issue with a logitech MX Ergo mouse, it uses Logitech Options+ instead of G hub.

Yup they were working up until today. I have a PTT and Play/Pause Music button on my mouse and neither works unless I alt-tab.

i made it so my mouse uses [ and ] for the side buttons.
In the options menu the do work and i can switch the hotkeys to it. while pressing the button on the mouse itself)
But for some reason this does not work when outside of the options menu?

Im having the same problem on my M720 Logitech mouse, just started today.

it is caused by nprotect gameguard, there will be nothing affected user can do

You can solve this by navigating to your Helldivers 2 installation directory, Selecting the 'Bin' folder, right clicking on Helldivers2.exe, selecting "Properties" then navigating to the 'Compatibility' tab and checkmarking 'Run this program as an Administrator' and clicking 'Apply'. You should now be able to use your various mouse buttons and media buttons.

will give it a try next time im closing the game; finally got past the login XD

Same here with G502 some keys (Alt / Tab / Ctrl at least) can be assign on buttons through G Hub but then even if the correct profile is set, it's not having any effect in the game.
Maybe a solution is to rebind all those keys to other normal keys in the game then assign them on the mouse ?
