Keybinds resetting

Everytime I open game some of my keybinds reset to random keys mainly just my keys for calling in stratagems and melee and ping keys

I have the same issue in terms of keybind for stratagem constantly resetting. I have set it to \ but it keeps resetting to each time the game restarts.

im so pissed off. i spent AN HOUR setting my custom keybinds up so that my tendonitis won't be aggravated!!! my motivation to play the game today is completely dead. ARROWHEAD PLEASE FIX THIS.

i have found out that my steam did not create the game folder in steam/userdata and therefore, no controls were being saved. when you launch steam in admin mode and disable the write protection on Steam\userdata and then launch the game, it should now create the game folder and in there, when you edit them ingame, the input settings. after those changes, it seems like my problem was fixed.

go to \Steam\userdata\[yourSteamID]\553850\remote\ and check if there is a input_settings.config to verify if that is also your problem.

hello everyone, i had the same problem as you, but i managed to fix it.

i read a lot of threads about his problem, i will explain how, it may not work for you.

First i disabled Steam cloud in Steam settings, i thought it was a Steam's file sync issue.

Then i read that the file supposed to contain the key binding file is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\210177146\553850.

And indeed it is there, then I wanted to check if the files were editable, the answer is no, the Userdata folder was read-only, I changed the file properties by disabling read-only for the Userdata file and all the sub-files contained in it.

there you have it, problem solved!

my settings started resetting..not all but some? wtf is going on with this game and all the problems!? i will not play this bs if i have to have to make sure all my bindings are is as they were before every game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same here, they fixed this 2- 3 months ago and now with their "big" update that was supposed to save the game, they undid it. Now each time I close the game then start it up again later, I have to remind myself, YET AGAIN, go back into the controls and redo half of my keybindings...

I checked the input_settings.config file and the keys bound in the file seem correct, however when the game launches it doesn't load the keys in the way the file has them bound, instead it uses numpads alternate keys such as instead of using "numpad 8" it would use "up". Seems like the same problem from when game originally launched and loaded wrong keyboard type (qwerty vs kavork) and etc. It was fixed, but now it is back. I don't know why it got broken again.
