Black screen at startup

When I start the game from Steam or from a desktop icon I see the NGuard Logo and then the game starts fullscreen. The screen is blank and I don't hear any audio. I'm on the latest version as of 2/14/2024 and my graphics drivers are all up to date. Anything I can do to report this to Arrowhead for a fix?

Getting the same issue. Tried...
-Deleting User_config
-verify file integrity
-Run in windowed
-Uninstall and reinstall
-Update Windows
-Update GPU drivers

Starting to think the only fix is refund. So sad. Looked promising.

i had a theory on release that they are purposely failing the servers and updates just to scam thousands of people out of money on the steam 16 day refund time. cause they released a "*finnished*" game

when sitting on a black screen, i hit alt+enter to take it out of full screen and the intro started playing.

It`s working you have to wait a little bit longer when you see the black screen. But servers are overloaded, that`s the issue.

Game is phenomenal when it works but damn is it a broken mess. Needs early access label lol

I did many of the recommended actions to no avail. Then i just let it run black screen for about 5-7 minutes and it let me reach the server capacity title.

i disabled steam overlay, now it works... wtf...

I waited in a black screen for about 10 minutes before I could play the game

just a heads up, considering a lot of people are posting this all at once, its likely not an issue with your pc its likely an issue with the games servers, something is not working so it wont boot the game, possibly the anticheat

Black screen on startup, I just let it set there for a few minutes until it finally went to the "Servers at capacity" screen
