A Quick FPS Boost for ya'll

For FPS Boost here's what you do

1. Open Steam
2. Go to "Library"
3. Right click game which needs to be reconfigured or click on the cog icon.
4. Select "Properties" from the menu
5. Go to select "Launch Options" and type "--use-d3d11"

This will basically force the game to run dx11, also, another thing to remember is when you first launch the game it will take quite a while to load and take awhile to start a mission. Don't worry this is just in your first launch and first mission after using dx11.

One last thing about this part; we've tested this on other rigs and noticed some of them didn't get an FPS boost, but the game ran smoother compared to it being on dx12.

Next FPS Boost

1. Head to "Nvidia Control Panel"
2. Click "Manage 3D settings"
3. Scroll down and find "Shader Cache Size"
4. Set it to 10gb

This should help with shader compiling and make your game run smoother, but this is not recommended to people with low storage space.

If this just messed up your game or caused it to lag more, just revert all the things you did and you're all set.

i can't even launch the game using "--use-d3d11" anticheat loads then screen goes to black and then back to desktop

You forgot something fundamental. You need to go to %appdata%, arrowhead, helldivers 2 and delete the shader_cache folder to properly use dx11 in this game
