Does cross platform not work?

This is the only reason I bought the game, but when I use the friend code and find the person I want to add, I can't select their name. Same issue happens on the other end. How does this work exactly?

Works for me. It is a tad clunky, but it works.

This has been a problem since March 6th update. I went threw the same thing. Apparently they dont care to much to fix it either. I stopped playing the game due to this issue

Same problem here. It's contemplated as a known issue in last update's changelog, though. Let's have faith and be patient they'll fix it.

I managed to get it working, I alt and tabbed back into the game and the name was highlighted. I managed to select it with my mouse, sent a request and it worked.

Full screen, but I was using a controller.

I found my controller would not select the friend, I had to use a mouse. However, we are having the other glitch where the last update removed my PS5 friend from my list, now I can't add him. We had two months of fun, but now it's unplayable with my crew.

i was playing with my buddy and it kicked us out from the game and unadded each other for some reason we've sent each other friend codes and neither of us can see or accept

same problem as "yackels" I can see my friends with the code and they can see me but cant see the friend request or accept

Ended up with the exact same issue, but I only got to play one session.

Steam refused my refund, this was the only reason I bought the game. Spent more time ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about trying to get crossplay working than I did playing.

Got the same issue here, my PS5 friend unfriended or blocked me by accident. Now we are not able to add each others again, we can send and receive friend requests from each other but we can not accept them. His blocked players list is empty though...
