What resolution and settings are you playing on? You might want to tone down your settings a little bit until a solution is found. That or use 3rd party applications to help give yourself a performance boost.
At first I was confused whether it was GPU VRAM or regular RAM, BUT reading it again seems to be a RAM related issue, there is a very handy program that I've been using in order to play Helldivers 2, since my computer is relatively old, you might want to check it out for yourself, as its purpose is to clean memory on the fly as it isn't being used.
Intelligent Standby List Cleaner is the name. It only requires an install and clicking on "start" whenever you are playing something heavy, though I don't suggest keeping it open if you make usage of creative softwares like Photoshop, Adobe Premiere and what not, as it can cause them to crash and lose your data.
And lastly, don't only take my word for it, do some research around this software, as having someone on the internet telling you to download and install a relatively unknown program is always sus. Anyway, I hope this helps.
Use ISLC in auto-mode while playing.
