Bug where i can't accept or send friend requests.

I'm having some issues with the friends system i have 2 pending friend request from some pretty chill dudes Id'e like to run with again but for some reason i can't accept there friend requests and I can't send them one either.

I think that system is tied to the Playstation Network. In order for it to work you need to have a PSN account and have it linked, if I am not mistaken. I might be totally wrong about this but I also reported this and the way I got around it was to use my Steam Overlay and just invited my friends that way. Since all of us are on PC we had no problem getting everyone together for some games. I don't have any friends on PSN so I don't know how that would work.

Same here. I have 2 requests pending and I can't accept it. When I click on accept, nothing happens. I have already created PSN account and it said it is linked when I created it during initial game startup.

Same here - it seems cross platform is not working - you can see the invitation but clicking "accept" does nothing

I don't think it has anything to do with crossplay. I have this same problem but with someone that is also using Steam. The weird part is that even though I nothing happens when I click accept, they not only have an invite still but they also show up in my friends list.

Same here, both non-Steam friends and with Steam Friends. Helldivers friend system just isn't working properly it seems.

I have the same problem.
My friends list in the game is empty. I can't see my Steam friends, but they can see me. When I send them a friend request, they can't accept it. I feel somehow defective and it's very frustrating.

Friend requests, lobby and party and social is all broken. It barely works. The friend codes do nothing and what exactly do I gain from linking my PSN account to this game?? Nothing changes. I hope they fix this because this is a major blow to ANYONE wanting to play with friends. Very bad.

The only thing to do is get your friends to make it Public then put it back to Friends Only once you join. Joining through steam invites doesn't work while they're in the ship but for some reason if they're deployed on a mission it does (????).
