Friend Requests PC to PC

Anyone having issues or fixed a problem to adding a friend and being able to accept the friend request, not cross platforms (PC to PC)

I was having the same problem where I didn't have a friend request tab. I just now fixed this by turning on crossplay and now that tab is there.

Same. Friend requests don't work for me from PC to PC or from PC to PS4. When my friends click the accept friend request button nothing happens apparently. I've sent requests via code, tried giving friends my code, and tried requesting via the recent players list. Nothing works. I have no friends in game and can only join lobbies via Steam chat

Its still worth mentioning as it is related to this topic and someone trying to search for solutions might see this post. Your steam profile settings affect whether you can see friends in this game, and this is annoying because it wasnt always like this. In fact its only in the last 2 weeks that I stopped being able to see my friends in game and had to troubleshoot this.

So yeah, if you cant see your steam friends in game at all, check your steam profile settings.

i have two friends in group already, easily seen by clicking O and yet im unable to join,
A few Errors - Connection error Failed to join lobby and Connection error unable to join game.
What really annoying i want join the official discord and am banned when i haven't even joined ever only had game for 8hrs

Can't seem to fix it, doesn't matter if PC->PC or PC->Sony, nothing works, I have connected to friends through STEAM and in game it says "pending".

Same here. PC->PC my friend request don´t work, we can accept them no matter who send the reuqest. And I can't join my friends' games through steam for a couple of days either.

besides this send friend request issue, me and my friends have an issue where they cant see me in their friend's list, while I can. Hence, every time I try to join them, they need to open to Public. Their game dont recognised me as friend.

try opening your friends list on steam, that helped my friend

After changing the Steam profile to public and changing the Crossplay ON option within the game, the tab to accept friend requests magically appeared. Honestly I don't know what they are doing but before everything was perfect, I could invite friends from Steam without problems and I saw them connected everything perfect. It was with the Meteor updates that everything got worse.
