**I am 99% of the time unable to play with friends?**
**I am 99% of the time unable to play with friends.**
Is there a trick to playing with friends i am unaware of?

I have them as friends on steam, & as friends in helldivers.
* I can't join game from steam
* i can't join game from an invite link sent on steam
* i can't join game from in game
* i can't even join them when they invite me

When i attempt any of the above
* establishing uplink to host ship
* receiving data
* connection error. unable to join host game

In my experience if you mess around with restarting Steam and the game, and sometimes if you just wait like 10 minutes, the problem eventually disappears. Almost 90% of the time like you say I have a problem joining a couple friends I always play with - or vice versa - and the problem seems to somehow fix itself. Bad server instances maybe, that resolve either after a little while or get remade and then work ok.

The weird thing for me is that I can't join my friends but they can all join me.
