I have tried running in DirectX 11, disabling global illumination, running in Eco mode at a cap of 60 fps, changing max GPU frequency to 2400, changing the GPU power limit to -10%, closing out all other applications while running the game, verifying files on Steam, and have changed multiple other in game settings. Nothing works. I did just reinstall the game because for the third time this week when I checked the game files, it has told me that 2-3 files are missing and would be reacquired, but the crashes keep happening anyway. I don't know why game files would continue to go missing. I think this game is the buggiest experience I have ever had in my 25+ years of PC gaming.
you can also try to install latest cpu + gpu driver.
seems to have occurred after the patch though, someone brought it up, I wasn't crashing before. I made it to level 40 like no problem
i'm very glad that i'm not alone with this trouble.
gigabyte 7900xtx OC very often crash =(( all time ex
please help
What i did :
- remove GCC (gigabyte control center) with REVO
- uninstall the latest Nvidia drivers by 3060ti with DDU (display driver unistaller)
- Install new radeon driver 24.2.1 (use default options)
My PC:
ryzen 5 7600x
Gigabyte 7900xtx OC
Kingson 5600
3440-1440
I've stress tested the system with various utilities, including other more demanding games, tried removing RAM sticks, tried installing on other drives, am running a good 1000w psu, and again, no luck.
If you look around, people with this card are having the same issue. Some are able to play on lower resolutions with only occasional crashes (1440p), but it's definitely a driver issue.
Reducing GPU Max frequency to 2700Mhz completely resolved my crashing issues on my 7900XTX
This resolve helped me
dito card is limited to 2800mhz, no driver crash since
