Connection error

Playing on PC, wired internet connection. Everything up to date. Everything restarted repeatedly but still getting this connection error repeatedly both in game and while just sat on my ship. I literally cannot complete a single mission without disconnecting.

The 'connection error' message pops up, saying the current network connection has been lost.

Does anyone have any fixes for this and is it a common issue?

Was not suffering with this at all up until maybe two patches ago.

Happens to me as well. Cannot play at all.

So I don't know what exactly fixed it, but these are the steps I took after my last attempt that made it work:
1. Disabled cloud saves
2. Downloaded the game on another PC
3. Ran normally there and played a few rounds
4. Enabled cloud saves (first on second PC, then on main)
5. Profit? Worked on my main PC after that

What didn't help: disabling IPv6, crossplay/public settings, running the game as administrator, deleting everything in user/appdata/roaming/arrowhead.

Same happens to me, doesn't help that there's zero ways to reconnect if your playing with randoms

Same issue. Was terrible today. Could barely make it 5 mins without DC. Sometimes it would be less than 20 seconds. I've tried some of the tips for creating additional firewall rules, but no luck

So after some testing I can confirm the reason why Dc's happen is the game basically has a zero tolerance to packet loss. If your wifi/ethernet/anything disconnects even for .1 seconds, it will boot you instantly even if the connection is instantly resumed.

That's so low of a tolerance that unless you were watching a log in your router or modem, you wouldn't even see it.

They can make it more lenient so that if a dropped player's connection responds after a few seconds it will resume, but that's on them.
