Primary weapon not firing most of the time
Been using an xbox elite controller. Everything else using the right trigger works fine, secondaries, support weapons, stratagems, etc., but not the primary weapons. I have to smack the right trigger as quickly and hard as possible to let off a shot, but even with moderately quick presses nothing happens, basically it has to be a flick hit. Haven't tested all my weapons, no firing range and I don't feel like loading up a whole match just to test a gun, but definitely an issue with the assault rifles, but no issues with the laser rifle, so I've been forced to use that for now.

It could definitely be because XBox is not a supported platform. When you use a controller with Steam it emulates the controller for the game you play. Steam has a controller section for this where you get a default configuration. This is happening in Steam unless you turn off Steam controller support; which if you did the XBox controller will not work properly at all(with Helldivers.) Since XBox controllers are not supported by PS5 games you're most likely hitting the button and the signal cannot be properly interpreted. There is also whats known as 'repeat rate' or the amount of continuous inputs from a button being held. I.e. if the repeat rate signal is too high the inputs are not being registered by Steam or Helldivers. There should be a way to configure it to work by playing with the Steam controller side.
