This is your problem. Your temps should be between 50-75 at all times. Anything above 80 is literally damaging your system. Either get a better cooler, a weaker CPU, or just buy a console if you can't take care of your PC parts properly.
Also, gaming laptops are HORRIBLE for overheating; get a PC.
You could try locking your fps via drivers, that usually works. Also remember that the lower the resolution, the more your cpu has to work so lowering resolution with supersampling will get your cpu hotter sometimes.
Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't thought about lowering the resolution, so I'll give that a shot. I limited my frames to 100, but I'll attempt 60 as well. Either or, I hope this is an issue that can be addressed. Hot parts are one thing, but shutdowns are not normal at all, especially since it seems that many people are affected by it.
I've managed to bump up the graphics settings to max, so the quality look way better. This also includes my DLSS on native.
The main contributor to the problems seems to be FPS and resolution, so the safest spot seems to be 60fps and 1920x1080 res.
These settings alone dropped my temp by between 15-20, especially during the loading screens. I still get high temp, but that's just gaming laptops for you. Trust me, I'd love to have a desktop PC, but right now it's not a practical option for me.
