there is currently zero patches or fixes that work on a semi/full capacity
the only fix that has worked for me is to not play for a few days or play solo. ( it can effect you by the hour, i have had it effect me for 20 minutes at random in a 2 week span )
i am also the only one in my friend group that plays this game that has this issue. no one else has had this issue once
there is also an easy way to see if your still going to have a problem for that particular moment
when you launch the game and get to the hangar, bring up your steam friends list.
if it says "on ship" your fine
if it says "on main menu" your playing solo or or not at all
i have tried every "fix" that i have seen and some have worked, but stopped working a few days later at most or never work at all, most do nothing to fix issue.
another thing i have noticed is that there is never any mention of it from the DEVS. i have seen over 1000 posts about this problem and i have seen ZERO responses from a dev. this is both here on steam and the discord, i dont think the devs care about this issue at all or its being done on purpose, what that purpose could be, i couldn't even imagine
"EDIT" i have now seen one post from a dev/mod that talks about this issue or a very similar issue and that post is from febuary 2024.
yes this is a copy/paste comment for all the posts that I see that match this issue
Setting your Steam profile to private, then back to public
Turn off your internet router for at least five minutes, then turn it back on (Even if your internet connection is completely stable, this has been reported to help others)
Some users have reported success changing their Steam download region. USA New York and Sydney Australia have been reported to help, but others could work too
You can try using a VPN, or disable it if you are already using one.
Running Helldivers2.exe as an administrator
On Steam, go to Steam Settings (can be found by clicking Steam in the top left) and then go the 'In Game' tab. Scroll down until you find 'Server browser pings/minute' and try lowering this to 3000. If this fix does not help, you may want to consider reverting it back to what it was before
You could consider disabling IPv6 in internet properties as this has helped some users
I emailed arrowhead and they gave me this to try. Nothing worked and they know of this issue. Can't believe a million dollar company cant fix a bug that been in their game SINCE LAUNCH!!!!!!!
