SR-18 Roadblock Helmet Red Screen Bug

Basically everytime i just look at said helmet on the screen, whatever i'm trying to equip it (unlike other helmets, i see a totally red square in the helmet selections) or someone else has it on, it shows a bunch of red rays that block my visual the closer i am to the helmet.
Does anyone else has this problem or know how to fix it? I can live without using it but its pretty annoying when teammates equip it.
