Here is my DxDiag uploaded to Pastebin
It shows a very common issue I have seen these days where it seems that the redistributables which are needed for the game are not correctly installed.
There are two ways which have proven successful to resolve the issue.
The first way would be to check Windows thoroughly and reinstall the missing distributables after deinstalling them e.g. with RevoUninstaller
Select the administrator option for Terminal from the Windows menu by opening the menu via Win+X or right-click on the Windows icon on the taskbar then copy & paste the following code snippets and confirm them with enter while running the command prompt tool
Then reinstall this
https://www.nexusmods.com/helldivers2/mods/93
See if that already helps.
The second approach would be to attempt replacing the faulty ntdll.dll file which is mentioned in your DxDiag report to be main culprit. But you need a trustworthy source for that, like a friend of whom you know they do not have the issue.
That could work as well.
I wish you good luck!
Thank you for your reply! Wanted to clarify the steps for this fix so I will need to manually search my files for the game to find the redistributables and replace the ones it uninstalls. What files would the redistributables be? (ie name, type, etc.) Also the code I’m running is going to certify that all the redistributables are present? Or that they are correctly installed? Or is this code uninstalling the bad redistributables? And the nexus link installs the correct ones? Sorry for all the questions just wanted to make sure I understood this right as I’m not the most computer savvy XD. I appreciate you’re help with this!
Okay. First, let us start with why I recommended you those.
1. You wrote you were able to play before, so it can be assumed that your PC should work with the game. But you can consult Arrowhead support as well, and you should if the issue persists: https://arrowhead.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Could be that some compatibility issue occured with the latest Windows patch very recently.
2. If you scroll down your DxDiag report, you see error messages such as
and
and
The first two ones indicate that something is not working between your Windows and your graphics/hardware drivers. That is why using the commands is to make sure that your Windows is not broken.
The third one confirms that there is somewhere an incompatibility.
In most cases, reinstalling the companion files for the game should make the game running, if there was a file corruption. Hence the link to the Nexusmods files, which contain companion software which gamers usually use.
If the issue persists, you can use the files which come with the Nexusmods file to replace the DLL files.
While that is no guarantee to cure your issue, it is often reported as successful solution.
That much I would try.
HOWEVER!
In general I see that your graphics card can be the culprit here - but I would unable to reproduce the issue since I cannot tell why you were able to play before and why no longer. I just know from other players that seemingly an incompatiblity has occured with Windows itself.
That is why you should contact Arrowhead support as well in the matter, if the workaround here cannot help you resolve the issue.
To sum things up
1. check Windows by using the commands as described - see here section General Troubleshooting
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3235564264
2. Reinstall the companion files / eventually replace the faulty DLL files with the package from Nexusmods - only from there you can be sure it is safe as the files are scanned by Nexusmods
3. Try to run the game in compatibility mode
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/make-older-apps-or-programs-compatible-with-windows-783d6dd7-b439-bdb0-0490-54eea0f45938
4. If nothing helps, consult Arrowhead Support using https://arrowhead.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
If you add your DxDiag report to your support request, it will quicken the response time - as long as you make an account there you can track the process.
If you feel unsure, you can also contact Arrowhead support directly. These workarounds are only a result of "players helping players" efforts. There is no guarantee it works, but it is definitely worth to give a go, and often enough the workarounds/solutions found here are the same as from the official support - just in other words.

I wish you good luck!
Super late reply on this but I went ahead and downloaded the UE setup redistributables and tried again but still had a crash after 10 minutes into a mission. I haven't tried replacing the dll files yet cause I wasn't sure how to replace them as I tried using revouninstaller as I couldn't find the dll files and pasting the new ones in to replace the old ones but it would not allow me. Is there anohter way I can go about replacing the files provided in the nexus fix?
I have written that you might need to use the Windows Recovery Environment to do so, as those files are special protected. Here is a simple guide how to get there
https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000113309/how-to-access-the-windows-recovery-environment-in-windows-10
If you need more help with that, let us know.
I see, I was able to get to the Windows Recovery Environment but I wasn't sure what to do once I was there. How exactly do I access my file explorer in that mode so I can delete the old dll files and put in the new ones?
I added a special troubleshooting part to the guide which covers the steps to replace the ntdlls - make sure to try with the clean boot / DEP / UAC first
Been a little while since i posted on here but I've tried many solutions but haven't had much luck. However, I think I finally found the problem. I downloaded Riva Tuner and MSI Afterburner to try and control my frame rate and they put an OSD up when I played the game. It was here that I first noticed my cpu temps were reaching into the high 80s during missions and I know a lot of computers have a heat throttle when they reach stressful temperatures to stop programs using a lot of resources. Could this actually be the culprit instead of some other issue with my computer?
I cannot exclude it and normally I would have mentioned it - but I gave up on that front because so many players always yadayadaclaim IT CAN NEVER BE A HEAT ISSUE
What does strengthen your argument is that another player with similar issues managed to run successfully with my tip to run the game with the GPU in debug mode.
That method is basically given by me to disable any overclocking of the GPU card. Debug mode = no overclocking.
So yeah, it can indeed be related, where tuning the GPU down with MSI Afterburner can address the same.
Finally got it figured out I haven't been able to use MSI Afterburn yet as it doesn't seem to let me change any setting with my gpu but I went ahead and got some thermal paste and replaced what I had on my laptop and now I cap out around 80 degrees and have been able to run back to back to back missions. It may have taken a while to figure out but at least now I know my issue is heat for the future. Thanks again for all the help for the fixes with this game!
