Cannot Link PSN Account

I get the QR code, which supposedly allows me to link PSN to Steam, but the link just takes me to a page with a "Continue" button, which then takes me Sony's support page https://www.playstation.com/en-us/support/games/psn-sign-in-pc/

What gives?

Has anyone else encountered this problem? How did you fix it?

Same issue here. Just keeps taking me to the FAQ page and in circles from there. No ability to link to Steam via PSN account menu, or vice-versa for Steam.

I went to Sony's support and the guy said it might be a server issue and to try again later. I hope that's the case. I just bought the game and really have no idea what to expect from this process.

[UPDATE] Now the Sony rep is passing the buck onto the dev 🙄. I just opened a support case with Arrowhead, so we'll see what they say.

Yeah, I'm migrating from PS so it'd be nice to try and get all my stuff and not start from 0 again. We'll see.

Thank god i looked here. I am having this issue as well. Glad I'm not alone. I also opened a ticket with arrowhead.

This has also happened to me as well. I've kept resetting the intro set up from the game files and it still doesn't show me a proper psn prompt sign in. I just got the game today and it keeps crashing after the cutscene which doesn't flow properly as the audio is faster than the cutscene. It crashes at the transmission part and it says that the error is cause of sony wanting to collect info so I suppose it's about me not signing in with psn and the security thing for when you bootup Helldivers, but I can't sign in either, How does one open a ticket with arrowhead? Please help!!

I tried it again today and it magically worked. The support from both Sony and Arrowhead were not any help. They just kept blaming the other company.

Must have been a network issue that was resolved on the back end.

That said, there surprisingly does not seem to be any benefit to linking accounts. All player progress is siloed between the PSN and Steam networks. I can't even access my PSN friends through the PC version. I'm not sure what the point of this feature even is?
