Voice lines and music delayed when landing for the first time

As the title says, the voice lines of the democracy officer, my diver, and whatever else that is played when throwing stratagems are not playing, I get the subtitles for them but no audio is playing, this also applies to the music that plays for the respective faction, and I know it should be playing because both end up cutting in at around the same time. Music comes in mid-chorus, or multiple voice lines stack on top of each other. It later fixes itself and doesn't become a problem until the next time I start a new mission, every single time. It is not game breaking, all other audio works for whatever reason, but it is extremely immersion breaking and I would like to have it fixed.

also for whatever reason when loading into my destroyer the democracy officer only has his head. Not sure its related but it doesn't change even if I wait through the introduction cutscene.

I have also tried asking this same question on the hd discord and reddit, with no one answering either. I just want a direction to be pointed in for a possible solution.
