I found a way. I disabled and re-enabled the adaptor, after updating the drivers, and then I unchecked TCP/IPv6 and opened the game. It worked. if you need a guide, you can follow this one https://www.reddit.com/r/Helldivers/comments/1bjv1b0/helldivers_2_network_issues_troubleshooting_fixes/
What actualy fixed for me was:
1 - Update the network drivers.
2 - Disable and re-enable the adaptor you use to play the game.
3 - Open the adaptor properties and uncheck TCP/IPv6
4 - Open the game and test.
If you encounter problems with games or connection because of that, just check TCP/IPv6 and only uncheck it to play the game.
Update me if it worked or not
just desabling it also wasn't working for me before. I had to undergo all these previous steps for it to work. Can you do it and update the status here?
Hope it fixes for you! Democracy needs us!
there is also an easy way to see if your still going to have a problem for that particular moment
when you launch the game and get to the hangar, bring up your steam friends list.
if it says "on ship" your fine
if it says "on main menu" your playing solo or or not at all
i have tried every "fix" that i have seen and some have worked, but stopped working a few days later at most or never work at all, most do nothing to fix issue.
another thing i have noticed is that there is never any mention of it from the DEVS. i have seen over 1000 posts about this problem and i have seen ZERO responses from a dev. this is both here on steam and the discord, i dont think the devs care about this issue at all or its being done on purpose, what that purpose could be, i couldn't even imagine
"EDIT" i have now seen one post from a dev/mod that talks about this issue or a very similar issue.
edit:
If i disable tcp/ipv6 it goes through the "Establishing up-link to host ship." and after a while it stays on "receiving data" it says "Failed to connect, connection timed out"
Anyone found a solution yet?
