I get a stutter when i press "esc" to get into the social menu or after i evac and fly back to the ship.
In the past i got a 5 sec stutter in the middle of a game and than hard disconnects.
but yours seems worse than that, I dont have it in the middle of the game anymore.
My specs are:
RTX 4080
AMD Ryzen 7900X
64GB Ram
And i play on middle Settings, because i want to save electricity.
this game has to be very smooth for me, but it still laggs here and there (jungle biome)
Some problems come form very uncommon places.
For example:
A friend of mine could get a fps boost by INCREASING the graphic settings.
Some random player had hard crashes until he changed the language to english.
Some player crash the game by throwing the orbital strike "wrong".
Untill today i can get lagspikes and crashes by simply looking at the startegem shop for too long.
I think its a CPU problem caused by the game engine and not a graphics problem.
sorry that it doesnt help.
just want you to know that you are not the only one.
Doesn't happen while inside the ship, can play normally for around 5 minutes in mission then it starts stuttering for around 10 seconds every ~25 seconds.\
It also hogs my PC entirely, rendering it useless during the stutters.
Specs
Ryzen 7 5700x
RX 6650XT
2x16 ; 2x8 GB RAM 3200MHz
Game installed on SSD NVME
This is my PC behaviour while playing (the spikes or drops are relate to the stutters, which almost look like it's a scheduled loop):
