Cursor (not crosshair) randomly appearing

Lately ingame my cursor will randomly appear and take over so mouse movements don't move my screen/aiming reticle. Perhaps worth noting, it's not the Windows cursor skin, it has the Helldivers cursor skin- the one you see when navigating menus

It started shortly after installing Microsoft Game Bar, but I've since disabled all MS Game processes and uninstalled the Game Bar and it persists, so I'm not sure if it's actually related at all.

I'm technologically regarded so any help is appreciated
