Fix for launching the game!
Hello guys i fixed my game, i can launch it and play very well now.
First i did all the solution on the forums, updating all the driver etc but nothing worked.

Here the fix: Launch helldrivers 2 from steam and make it crash like always and then open the Event viewer of windows (search event viewer in the start menu), go in Windows Logs>Application and here check for the helldrivers2.exe errors or informations.

It will give you precious informations about what is making the game crash, for me it was the audio driver i don't even use..., NahimicOSD.dll.

Faulting application path: F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Helldivers 2\bin\helldivers2.exe
Faulting module path: C:\ProgramData\A-Volute\A-Volute.Nahimic\Modules\Scheduled\x64\NahimicOSD.dll

When you find the file, go in the folder and rename it like NahimicOSD.dllZZZ and then launch the game, it should work, do the tutorial and have fun!

Sadly, nothing pops up in application... Only in Windows Logs>System. Error that says...
"A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the nProtect GameGuard Service service to connect."
Also another error that says...
"The nProtect GameGuard Service service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion."

This error is something else, did you try to put admin right for the helldrivers2.exe and check to the nprotect service C:\WINDOWS\system32\GameMon.des if it's blocked somehow ?

Mine says:

So its saying the helldivers exe is faulting

Nahimic service is already stopped due to impacting Chivalry 2 :-)

Well holy crap.
I disabled 'Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer' in Sound properties which uses the Nahimic driver and now I can actually play the game. Amazing.

Unsure if i use this or not, but will check and update when i get off work to see if this works for me.

It's not only nahimic, it could be something else in the event viewer errors list. fix what you can.

Ya see my event list up there... I have no clue what the hell it is if its only showing the game exe as the problem

Mine was also only showing the game .exe as faulting.
