Black Screen Purgatory

I'm having an issue with Helldivers 2. I've tried checking for game updates, closing the game, uninstalling and reinstalling it, unplugging the entire system, and plugging it back in. This is on PS5 AND on PC. The helldivers logo will pop up, the game will then sit on a black screen for 10 minutes before then playing the cinematic (which is unsinkable) and then sits in the menu screen where it displays the message (an unknown error has occurred) and continues to attempt to connect but never can until the next day. This usually happens on a night where there is an update. The problem is whenever i check for updates, it doesnt show that there is any, nor does it let me in to play the game or show any other kind of message. I'm wondering if this is a bug where it forces me out and it has something to do with the server? Please need help with this one. I like to play with my friends on the days that I have off but this has been a reoccurring issue

clear your files in your %appdata% folder that has Arrowhead/Helldivers 2
Then while helldivers 2 is off do a file integrity check in steam.
finally in your tools folder in the helldivers 2 install folder is a gamegaurd uinstaller called gguninst.exe run that and it should clear out any old gamegaurd files.

see if this works.

I really really hoped that this would work.. unfortunately it did not... Every time the game loads, the screen goes black with the connection error and then it disconnects everything from the internet. After i close the game I get my internet connection back. On the very few occasions I can even get to the intro, it loads up with the network error there too.

I have tried the above suggestions, I have uninstalled and re-installed a many many times. I have disabled my firewall, I have done port forwarding, i have done a internet speed test ( 1gig ) .. I made sure all my drivers are up to date... No matter what I do, I cannot get this game to load so I can actually play it. I have had this issue since 4/19. Up until then, the game ran flawlessly for me then suddenly it didn't and hasn't sense.
