Webroot Antivirus Compatibility Issue
While Webroot is active, frame rates appear limited to around 12-15 FPS. Disabling/removing Webroot appears to restore the expected frame rate. This may be connected to previous issues around compatibility with Webroot and GameGuard.

I am having this same issue, only way to play is to disable Webroot. but that just leaves your system exposed at that point.

This post just cleared the last 48 hours of confusion that I've gone through. Thank you so much!

If you re-enable it while the game is playing, the frames instantly drop down to ~15 FPS. Pretty crazy. I submitted a support ticket to the devs, but they never bothered to answer.

Hey! Did you ever get an update from the devs?

Thanks!

Nope! Nothing from support.

In fact, if you go to their support website and try to sign in, you just get
"oops
The page you were looking for doesn't exist"

Well that's silly. Thanks for the reply though. I found that when I disable webroot from the task bar after launching the game it seems to be ok.

This is still an issue that I've been having since April 16th. It really sucks that I have to disable Webroot just to play

I had this issue, I contacted Webroot support and unistalling and reinstalling Webroot fixes the issue.
When reinstalling, if asked "Would you like to automatically import the settings that were used in your previous installation?", click No.
Looks like they finally fixed the issue. Loaded in today to check out the update and I loaded in no lag no problem while my webroot was still enabled. Only took them 3 months :/
