Numerous crashes to desktop without error report PLUS unable to kill process

Keep crashing to desktop without rhyme or reason without error report: in the middle of a match, on extraction, upon joining a squad, you name it.

Also sometimes unable to kill helldivers2 process after leaving the game. The screen freezes after I leave, and the game isn't playable, but the process keeps hanging there. I can't alt-tab between processes, say, to switch to task-manager from which i'd be able to end process. I am able to alt-tab into desktop where I can only interact with bottom tool-bar and start button functions, but closing window of the helldivers2 process does nothing.
