Any way to close a party even to friends ?

Sometimes I just want to play the game with my girlfriend alone. But other friends keep joining all the time.

Is there any way to close of the party to other people ?

Never seen a game where there was no option for this..

maybe change your steam profile status to invisible and invite your girlfriend to your ship

Invisible or offline and they can't see you done easy with a drop down, if you use in game overlay or the friends list pop out and click on the down arrow, you can change it. I don't think you can fully private it otherwise

The problem is I also have cross platform friends from playstation. I think they can still see me ingame right ?

Turn cross Play off in options 2nd 1 down should solve that hopefully? Cannot say though for sure.

Yes, playstation players can still see you and jump in.. invisible only works for steam friends
I guess disabling crossplay aswel should work (as stated above)

Yeah the problem is that my girlfriend is on ps5 and I am on pc. So I have to keep crossplay on i think to be able to play together :(

Yeah I really wish a true invite only mode.
Its weird that this isnt an option.

Even for streamers. This would kinda break the whole point of playing with a duo and have random people join your squad.

Indeed, I have made many good friends in this game, but I don't necessarily want to play with them all the time.
Sometimes I like to solo.
Sometimes I'm playing with a specific group, or in a duo, or with my real life mates, or maybe I'm just messing around testing stuff
Even worse when someone on my friend list drops in randomly and I feel like it would be rude to ask them to leave and I certainly would kick them, so I find myself stuck, trapped by my own politeness, lol

That's quite the conundrum lol
You could turn it off to see if it boots her? But it probably will would be my guess, couldn't hurt to try after she joins though.
