on : main menu glitch

i've tried every single little solution under the sun and every reddit/steam support thread. the game refuses to allow me to connect with my friends and show that i'm on a planet instead of the main menu. again. i have tried using a vpn, turning off ipv6, restarting router, changing dns, changing to wifi and then back to internet and then back to wifi, setting my steam profile to private/public/private/public, firewall settings, messing around with port settings, verifying integrity, reinstalling the game and even went above and beyond to install the game on a different computer in a completely different home with a different ISP to see it still doesn't allow me to join my friends and my friends join me. i can join PUBLIC matches. but i can't invite anyone and nobody can't invite me. does ANYONE. ANYBODY. know what is going on?

I'm having the exact same issue I contacted arrowhead but they haven't gotten back to my ticket

i contacted them about this 3 weeks ago and they told me it would 'probably' be fixed with the newest patch. it wasn't, and they also didn't acknowledge it in the patch notes or in the known issues section of the support page. nobody responds in the discord either. i'm really just too old to care about ♥♥♥♥ like this anymore, they're bad developers and i've played too much to get a refund. whatever.
