helldivers 2 only works when i press the windows button

its been working just fine. all the sudden whenever i load it up it freezes instantly until i press the windows button on my keyboard then it plays in the background BUT I CANT PLAY IT. The MOMENT i i try anything it freezes, but the moment i press my windows button again it works but is unplaybvale i just sit there and watch it... I need assistance nothing online has fixed this i really wanna play this game but its very frustrating please does anyone have a solution?

Should list what you've already tried. atm I would suggest turning to windowed mode on or off to see if that is triggering it. mine always starts in windowed mode and I have to hit windows twice then press it in the taskbar to get it back to fullscreen. Otherwise, try the run as administrator and the usual troubleshooting stuff. Verify, clear cache, etc etc. Also atm, its bugged for thousands, many have stutter/fps drops. I myself was 60-120 since launch. New patch gave me 2 - 37 FPS. Might be related.

Hi mate, i saw this post a few days ago and had the same problem, the solution i found was that my antivirus was stopping the game from acting as it normally would so i changed the permissions so that it would allow the game to run normally, hope this helps
