Stuck on Establishing Up-Link to Host Ship

General Juvaldes(118) here:

i just bought a PC (because last one was stolen) and installed the game. When trying to play a map in matchmaking it just shows the "Establishing Up-Link to Host Ship" and nothing happens. Also, when trying to join friend it displays "unable to join game". Cant be an update because i played after its release , it is a shame to suffer again with and early game bug (was popular bug on Feb and march ) after having played more than 300 hours.

I have found and tried this solutions :
- verifying installed files
- reinstalling the game
- turning of firewall/ antivirus
- made exception for helldivers2.exe on security apps
- Turned Off Starlink to use mobile wifi ( to discard another early bug of the game)
- Using a VPN
- Turning off IPv6 Network Protocol

Can play solo but its not the same, hope that this reaches someone that can help

No starlink, but same problem, I have a classical fiber internet service. Happen after an infinite loading dropod bug, cannot join any game, tried to verify the files and restarting the PC, but the problem persists.

Same problem, 200+ in and for some reason now I can't join anyone. Even Social tab is bugged it is showing me firend list with my friends online but I can't join them...keep getting unable to join.

Same problem. Love the game, but I can only play alone and that really sucks. I never actually join any SOS beacons even though I can see them on planets. Everytime just "Establishing Up-Link to Host Ship" then "Unable to Join Game". Please fix this problem instead of releasing new content... New content is nice, but not if you can't even group with anyone for a quickplay...

Been having this same issue since just before Viper Commandos.
AHG support finally responds to my third support ticket for this issue after over a month to say, "Sorry can't help you personally." Then flat out refused to refund me for the SC I had bought to buy the new warbond, seeing as I can't play the game as it's supposed to be played anymore thought I'd at least be able to get that ten dollars back but nope.

I may have accidentally come across a fix for players unable to join friends or randoms.

I was finding a fix for Star Citizen & for now at least it seems have resolve my joining issue - https://support.robertsspaceindustries.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038342233-Error-Code-30009-30018

Tested it twice thus far, once joining via galaxy map & 2nd time joining a friend. Work straight away.

Arrowhead told me this is a known issue with starlink and no fix in sight.
