Galactic War Map Consistent Crash

Game had been working fine all weekend. I can load into the ship and shop/armory screens fine. Opening the Galactic War map and trying to select a mission or back out of the war map now crashes my game every time.

I have tried lower graphics settings. I have tried changing from public to friends and back. I have verified integrity of game files. I also have uninstalled and reinstalled. The Galactic War Map is crashing my game every time no matter what and rendering the game unplayable. Started last night. Still happening today. Completely clueless on what else to try other than just waiting for a patch? Are the devs even aware of this? Not sure if others are experiencing it.

AMD 7900XT and Intel i13600k. Has been working flawlessly up until last night when this started. I know AMD drivers had issues at launch but the preview driver fixed that last week. As a side note I do not have anti-lag or anything like that enabled in AMD software that might trigger anti cheat. I know CS2 had that issue.

Had the same problem.
I don't know if this was the thing that fixed it for me, but now it's working.
Try deleting dp.jfm in C:

No luck. Just deleted that file and it still crashed the same exact way. Tutorial, shops, armory all work. Galactic Map just instantly locks it up and closes the game. Appreciate the response though. Was worth trying.

So I found a not so elegant fix for anyone that finds this. Join a friend's ship. Have them pick a mission. Load in. You can leave the mission and return to your ship if you want. Then it should be good. At least for me it was.

My best guess is the mission glitched when I first went to load in and every time I tried to open Galactic War Map it crashed trying to pick up from there? Not sure. But having a friend load me in to a game seemed to reset my Galactic War Map and allow me to freely browse and load in to missions. Hopefully this helps someone.
