Unable to Unblock friend

My friend is on PS5 and we accidentally blocked each other trying to join, but they don't come up in blocked players. They wont show up in recent players either. We can send a friend request just not see it come through. Any tips?

Possible solution:
Happened to me and my friend aswell. He (PS5 user) and me (PC user). He accidently blocked me and he couldn't unblock me again (i didn't show up in the "Blocked players" list at all).

What he did whas:
1. Cancel any pending friend requests.
2. Search for my ID using a freshly generated Friend-code by me.
3. When he found me; Clicked my name and instead of sending a new friend request he blocked me again. (i actually think he tried this several times).
4. Now my name suddenly appeared in the 'Blocked players' -list!
5. Unblocked me and sendt a new friend request.

It took some fiddeling but it worked out in the end.

Me and a friend have the same problem. However, the solution did not work for us after a LOT of attempts.

many people have this problem, my brother and I still have it too. We can't play together in any way, he's on ps5, I'm on steam deck

You can drop in a mission then send SOS and if lucky he will see you and join that’s what we’ve been doing but it’s a pain…

Yea this is still affecting me (ps5) playing with my friend (pc) as one of us blocked the other by accident and still can't unblock

they still haven't fixed it. I see my brother and a bunch of other people I blocked, but I can't unblock them, they just didn't add an "unblock" button
