CTD or evn BSOD whenever I launch Helldivers2
Played yesterday and my game started crashing after the update. Updated my drivers, now my PC BSODs. It ♥♥♥♥♥♥ my PC so hard it Bluescreens at most things nowadays. Watching videos? Bluescreen. Trying to play another game? Bluescreen. Drivers? Bluescreen. I did a full reinstall of Windows and I do get BSODs, but less frequently now.

Google never used to have problems, but now I get this: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION
Discord randomly closes itself down which never happened before. Google pages close themselves down etc. I've gotten probably 10 or more unique bluescreens, which are:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
(what failed: dxgmms2.sys)
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
(I Then wiped my C:\ Drive and reinstalled windows 10)
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
another IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
another PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
BAD_POOL_CALLER
another SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP
yet another PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION
yet another SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION
yet another ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
(what failed: nvlddmkm.sys)

This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥ my PC so hard I'm out here catching all these errors like it's POKEMON.

I had to order a new GPU, I've moved RAM sticks about, I've ran memtests (come up clean), I've reinstalled windows, ive installed older drivers etc. I can only think it's the motherboard - either way, Helldivers2 broke some hardware in my PC and even 24 hours later im still trying to bugfix my PC and get my other games working since it was choked that badly.

Has anyone else had any of the above issues?
Has any intel user gotten this ♥♥♥♥ working? I see all my other friends playing and yet I'm the one who's got a PC that was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fried by the game.

This is tiring and I am tired.
I just want to play...

System failure is a firmware or hardware issue. If updating drivers and Windows does not fix it consider replacing your motherboard.

Already one step ahead of you - getting my Motherboard replaced in the next two hours. I ended up going to bed at 8PM on a weekend instead of the classic 3AM, because my PC just kept on bluescreening to the point my PC decided to lock me out of my own account for two hours.

Finally back after 4 days of agonising pain. Got a new Motherboard and GPU and things seem to not bluescreen anymore.

Annoyingly though I still CTD randomly, but at least no more bluescreens.

I'd love to play this game and I still actively try, but man this game does not want me to play.

if you checked the BSODs you may have found out that the helldivers 2 anti cheat gameguard has been the cause for those and there was nothing wrong with your setup. After an update around 5-6 days ago to the anti cheat i will constantly BSOD, currently waiting on them to remove it as from some posts on the forums it seems they are currently in discussions about this

the anto cheat also lingers after exiting the game too so if you managed to get in, then exit and play something else the anti cheat will BSOD you then too.

Go to Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application when your game crashes next time. Post the first three lines of the log.

I got a brand new Motherboard and it no longer BSODs.

THE FIX:

I don't know why, but it is based on the FPS.
I went to Nvidia Control Panel -> Manage 3D Settings -> Max Frame Rate and set it to 60. Just played a 45 minute mission with no crashing. Christ. How the ♥♥♥♥ does this game crash due to FPS?
