Mission Start Loading Stuck (Hell pod drop loading screen)

I am unable to start any mission (not even the tutorial again). The game gets stuck at the Hell Pod dropping loading screen when starting a mission. I have cleared the cache, restarted the game multiple times, verified the game files twice and uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and I am getting the same issue.

Anyone has any fix for this? Are the developers aware of this issue?

Since I bought the game, I was only able to play the tutorials, which is really frustrating!

EDIT: I used a VPN and I was able to load into missions multiple times.

Had this happen like 3 times now. First two times it was fix by someone closing the game, third time it didn't work. I'm thinking it's a connection issue of the host to someone that holds it's up since the first two times it happen it fixed when just one person left and the 3 time we got unlucky that it was the host.

I had the same issue, reinstalling didnt fix it but deleting the entire folder located in appdata\Roaming\Arrowhead\Helldivers2 fixed it, you will lose your settings though.

Same for me, nothing worked to fix it. Can't play the game anymore with this bug, happens every time.

Update: I was waiting patiently for about 10 minutes in the loading screen and suddenly he dropped me into the game.

VPN worked I turned it on mid fall and it immediately loaded me in (I did lose connection though)
