Unable to unlock new difficulty level.

Difficulty level 7 does not open! I have already completed many missions at the 6th difficulty level, completely closed all the quest chains, but the 7th level has not opened. What to do?

Bro, the vast majority of us are stuck on Easy (Lvl 2). Medium doesn't unlock.

I wish I could get anything even close to that.

Lvl 12 stuck on Easy. Tried everything - playing solo, abandoning missions (to reset maybe?), replaying tutorial, completing Easy with others. We completed the entire operation on challenging difficulty with randoms, but still can't launch anything besides Trivial and Easy myself...

I am level 14 but am stuck on easy missions. I have done easy operations on both enemies solo and with teamates. I've 100% them and still have not been able to access medium difficult. It keeps saying play an easy operation to unlock medium difficulty. Very annoying. I have played up to hard levels on my friends ships but when on mine it only allows easy.

I'm stuck on difficulty 3 missions and can't progress past that. I'm over level 25. I need the orange sample materials but can't do any missions where they spawn. Really annoying since I have unlocked so much but can't upgrade anything.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one unable to unlock higher difficulties. Has there been any word from the Devs about a fix for this?

This is day 7 of me (lvl 35) not being able to host a game in medium difficulty.

I have not heard anything from the devs. I am glad I am not the only one having the issue. We will suffer together fellow helldivers.

I found the fix.. not sure if it was patched yet - coming late to this reply.

if you play Hell Dive (queuing with friends) difficulty it sequentially started unlocking further difficulties on every operation completion. Kind of comical actually lol.

From my experience, you will unlock every difficulty sequentially in order for playing on any higher difficulty - shouldn't have to be Helldive. So, playing 3 straight level 7s online sequentially unlocked everything up to and including Level 7 Suicide mission for me.
